Frequently Asked Questions

At RADVIS Studio, we offer two ways to collaborate:

This FAQ is divided into three sections to help you quickly find answers:
1. General questions about file formats, styles, and timelines
2. Questions specific to custom project requests
3. Questions related to the online calculator workflow

General Questions
What file formats are accepted?

We accept DWG, PDF, SketchUp, Revit, 3DS Max, and most common 3D and CAD formats. You can also send hand sketches, screenshots with notes, or moodboards.
The more information you provide (plans, references, descriptions), the better and more accurate the final result will be.

Can you match a specific visual style or mood?

Yes — just send references or examples of styles you like. We can adjust lighting, materials, camera angles, and atmosphere to match styles like modern minimalism, cozy interiors, twilight lighting, and more.

How long does a project usually take?

It depends on complexity:
• Small interior scenes: 3–7 business days
• Larger projects or multi-angle exteriors: 1–2+ weeks
You can use our calculator to get a preliminary estimate of time and cost.Final timeline and pricing are confirmed after we review your full project materials.

What is 3D rendering and how is it used?

3D rendering is the process of creating realistic images from architectural drawings or models. It’s commonly used for real estate marketing, design presentations, and visualizing unbuilt spaces before construction.

Do you offer animation or walkthroughs?

Yes — we offer animation and camera walkthroughs as an additional service. These are quoted separately based on the project scope, duration, and camera complexity. If you're interested in animated visuals, let us know and we’ll provide a custom estimate.

Do you work with clients outside the U.S.?

Yes, we work with clients worldwide. Our workflow is fully remote and efficient across time zones.

What types of 3D rendering services do you offer?

RADVIS Studio provides:
- Interior renderings
- Exterior renderings
- 3D floor plans
- Animations & camera walkthroughs
- 360° panoramic views
- Concept/mood renderings
- High-resolution marketing visuals

How are payments processed?

All payments are made online — you’ll receive a secure link at key stages of the project. Payments are handled through Stripe Stripe logo , a trusted platform used by businesses worldwide. It’s fast, safe, and works with any major credit or debit card.

Custom Project Requests
How does the process work if I contact you directly?

We’ll manually review your request, clarify project details, and agree on a timeline and price together. This approach is flexible and works best for complex or hybrid projects.

Are revisions included in a custom project?

They can be included by prior agreement. If not specified, they'll be billed separately.

Can I request services not listed on your website?

Yes — we often handle custom tasks like facade redesigns, renovation concepts, or product renderings.

Can I track a custom project or use the Revisions & Extras page later?

Custom projects generate a request ID but aren’t connected to the calculator system. That means revision tools and auto-pricing are unavailable.

How is payment handled for custom projects?

We agree on a fixed price and schedule. Small projects may require full upfront payment; larger ones are split into stages.

Can we work in stages — draft, approval, then final?

Yes — many projects follow a 3-step structure: draft → feedback → final. Each phase can be reviewed and invoiced separately if needed.

Can I request a project under NDA or keep it confidential?

Yes — if you need full confidentiality, we’re happy to work under a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) or written request.

By default, RADVIS Studio may use completed visuals for portfolio, website, or promotional purposes — unless confidentiality is requested and agreed upon before the project begins.
Do you offer consulting or design suggestions?

Yes — we can advise on layout, materials, or lighting during the process. While we don’t replace a designer, we can support your vision.

Can I start small and expand the scope later?

Absolutely — you can begin with one or two views and add more anytime. We retain your project setup for future use.

Calculator-Based Projects
How does the calculator-based process work?

You’ll go through a short multi-step form, selecting options that best describe your project — type, style, urgency, number of views, and more. Based on your selections, the system calculates an approximate price and delivery estimate.

After submitting the form, you’ll be redirected to a summary page showing your full project breakdown, a unique request ID, and a preliminary delivery date. You’ll also receive a confirmation email letting you know your request has been received.

Once we review your files, we may contact you for clarification or additional details. When everything is confirmed, we’ll send you a final estimate along with an invoice for the project deposit.

As soon as the payment is received, you’ll get a confirmation email and your project will officially begin.

Are revisions included when ordering through the calculator?

No — revisions are intentionally not included in the base price. This gives you full control and transparency — you only pay for what you actually need.

If you'd like to make changes, use the Revisions & Extras page to order additional services, including revisions.

How does urgency work in the calculator?

You can mark your project as urgent to receive faster delivery. The calculator applies a multiplier to prioritize your project and shorten the timeline — depending on availability. If we can’t meet the requested deadline, we’ll notify you immediately.

What is the request ID used for?

Every submission through the calculator generates a unique request ID. This helps you (and us) track your project and connect additional services like revisions or add-ons. You can use this ID in future communication or when ordering updates.

Can I update my project after submitting it through the calculator?

If you realize you made a mistake or forgot something — no problem. Just fill out the calculator form again and resubmit it. We’ll review both submissions and contact you to clarify and confirm the correct details before moving forward.

What if I need help choosing the right options in the calculator?

If you’re unsure what to select, feel free to contact us directly. We’ll review your materials and either guide you through the calculator or handle your request manually as a custom project.

How is payment handled for calculator-based projects?

After reviewing your submission, we’ll send you a final delivery estimate and an invoice for the deposit. The required deposit depends on the total project cost:

  • Under $400 → 50% upfront
  • $400–$1000 → 20% deposit
  • Over $1000 → 10% deposit
Once the payment is received, you’ll get a confirmation email and your project will officially begin.

When the final renderings are ready, we’ll send you a short video preview to confirm that the files are complete and meet your request. After the final balance is paid, you’ll receive a secure download link to access all your high-resolution files.

Can I receive source files (3D scenes, layered PSDs, etc.)?

By default, calculator-based projects include only the final high-resolution rendered images.

However, you can purchase source files at any time after delivery. To do this, go to the Revisions & Extras, enter your project ID, click Check Project, find the “Source Files” option, and submit your request. We’ll send you a payment link, and once payment is received, you’ll receive access to your source files.

What types of revisions are available and what’s included in each?

We offer three levels of paid revisions. Here’s what each one covers:
